Policies

Myers Studio Policies
The following policies pertain to all Myers students enrolled in the school.  Failure to follow these policies may result in your dismissal from the school.

Attendance and Missed Classes
Student attendance is required for serious study.  Only a total of three absences, late arrivals, or early dismissals may be subject to approval by Miss Myers each term. The school should be notified prior to the absence. If your child misses class, they may make it up in a class one level below or one level above their own.  Students should arrive at least 5 minutes early to inform the instructor they will be making up a missed class.

Commitment
All students who are registered at Myers are considered to be serious ballet students who are dedicated to the best training possible. Their training will be under the watchful of eyes of Miss Myers and her Professional staff. Any additional ballet training elsewhere will be cause for immediate dismissal without prior discussion and written approval from Miss Myers.

Class Size

The Myers Ballet School strives to individualize and personalize your child’s dance instructional experience. Therefore, class sizes are limited to ensure attention for all students.

Adult Class Policy

Adults registered for classes at Myers Ballet School are exception to our studio exclusivity policy and are welcome to study at other studios.  Appropriate attire is left to the discretion of the adult dancer.  Adult students are not eligible for Myers' boys/mens scholarship program.

Payment

Tuition is due, prior to the first day of classes of each term. Failure to pay tuition by this deadline will result in a $20.00 late fee per week, in addition to your tuition owed until payment is received. If payment is not received by the end of the first week of classes, students with an outstanding tuition balance may be asked to sit out of class. When joining our studio, there is a one time new family registration fee of $30.00.

NO REFUNDS will be given.

Families wishing to pay for the entire year will receive a discount and must contact Miss Myers directly

Class Placement
